  • Who Can apply?

    • PhD students, Post-doctoral researchers and faculty in mathematics, statistics, business, economics, finance, physics, finance or data science.
      • 
        
      
        
    • Participants from industry are encouraged to apply.

  • Eligibility

    • Students must have completed one masters level or higher course in Statistics or Quantitative finance.
      • 
        
      
        
    • Students need to furnish a bonafide certificate from their university.
      • 
        
      
        
        
      
        
    • Preference for acceptance will be given to an applicant presenting in a poster session or participating in the student paper competition.

  •  Registration Fees for five days event:

    •  ₹ 5000/- (+ 18% GST) for students
      • 
          
          
    •  ₹ 7500/- (+ 18% GST) for non-students from academics
      • 
          
    •  ₹ 10000/- (+ 18% GST) for non-students from industry
      •

    To be considered for a contributed oral presentation, your full paper should be submitted by October 30, 2025. Mail your paper at statfin@cmi.ac.in
		
    
		
    
		
    
		     
    
           If you are a student and want your paper to be considered for the student paper competition, then ask your supervisor to send a mail at statfin@cmi.ac.in, with a particular mention that you were the primary contributor and author of the paper by October 30, 2025.
         
    
         
    
         You must submit your paper by October 30, 2025, to be considered for the competition.

    • Student participants will be provided accommodation at the Student's Hostel.
      • 
		    
    • For the student who will be staying at the hostel, the breakfast and dinner is included.
      • 
		    
    • Please note that the student's hostel does not have AC in the room. It also does not have an elevator. So you have to help yourself.
      • 
		    
    • For non-students from academics and industry, the guest house is not available. However, there are plenty hotels are available from very economy to premium.
